Our Practice

Our phone line is open 8.30am to 4.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 2.00pm on Friday. Our office hours vary to accommodate early/late appointments. We are closed on weekends. If you need medical treatment outside of our office hours, contact your GP or attend your closest hospital.

Our Facilities

We know your time is valuable. As a patient of Dr Flynn, if you need tests and treatment they can all be undertaken in one convenient location. On-site pathology, theatre, ultrasound and IVF laboratory services saves your time and money. For our Gold Coast IVF patients, having on-site embryology and andrology laboratory services ensures our timing is perfect to achieve the best possible outcome for your procedure.

Appointments

You can request an appointment anytime online, or by phoning our office on (07) 5564 8011 during our office hours A referral from a GP is essential and enables much of the cost of treatment to be covered by Medicare. If you are wanting an appointment for fertility management and have a partner, they will also require a valid referral. A standard referral from your General Practitioner (GP) is valid for 12 months. A referral from a Specialist is only valid for 3 months.

New Patient Registration

If you are a new patient to our practice, please ensure that you have a confirmed appointment. A New Patient Registration Form can be downloaded and completed prior to your appointment. You can fill it out when you arrive at your first appointment, however please arrive at least 10 minutes early. Please provide as much detail as possible to assist us in understanding your requirements. If you are an existing patient of Dr Flynn's you only need to fill out this form if your details or your referring doctor have changed.

Parking

There is a free multi-story car park available for patient parking at our Benowa practice. The car park entrance is off Carrara Street next to the school field. After parking, take either the lift or stairs to level 1 and proceed to the main entrance (next to Hudson’s Coffee Shop). Exit the building and directly across is the building called Pindara Place. Enter through the glass doors and take the lift to our office on level 1. Our Ballina office on Tamar Street has 2 hour free on-street parking.
