That’s why we created the Naturally Fit for Fertility package. The aim is to offer you advice, suggest small changes that could make a big difference and get you the best start in becoming pregnant.
During your individualised appointment Dr Flynn will discuss lifestyle, and other factors that could impact fertility. For a woman, that might mean you’ve experienced irregular periods. For a male, it might be concerns around sperm. It might be you’d like reassurance that everything is ok to start trying to get pregnant. Or, you might have already started trying and you want to fast track your family by optimising your natural fertility.
Our “Naturally Fit for Fertility” package will give you:
- An indicator of your current fertility health.
- A deeper understanding of fertility.
- Identify simple measures you can take to improve your fertility.
- If you are trying to get pregnant, detailed monitoring on the timing of ovulation each month.
This package focuses on natural fertility, and each test is quick and minimally invasive. When thinking of fertility assistance, most people think of IVF, but that is not the only option. Optimising your fertility could be a simple matter of giving Mother Nature a helping hand with timing, lifestyle changes or medicine.
In some instances, tests may indicate there might be a need for medical intervention. In this case, the earlier you seek treatment, the quicker you could be achieving a pregnancy.
Who is this package for?
Naturally Fit for Fertility appointments are for individuals, or couples. If you are a trying for a family as a couple, we recommend both people attend the appointment. When couples have trouble conceiving, the problem could involve either person, or both.
“Naturally Fit for Fertility” – Female
- Medical History - An overview of medical, surgical and family history to assess any factors that may impact fertility
- Lifestyle Advice: Assessment of lifestyle and environmental factors, and any modifications that might be beneficial to fertility
- Body Mass Index: Assessment of BMI and advice on how this may, if at all, impact on fertility
- AMH Blood Test: Vital marker of ovarian reserve
- Ultrasound Assessment: As well as assessing your follicle count, a scan will identify other factors such as endometriosis or fibroids that may impact on fertility
- Ovulation Tracking: Monitoring of hormones through blood tests, so you know when the best time is to have intercourse.
- Summary Report: You will receive copies of the test results, a detailed explanation and any recommendations.
“Naturally Fit for Fertility” – Male
- Medical History - An overview of medical, surgical and family history to assess any factors that may impact fertility
- Lifestyle Advice: Assessment of lifestyle and environmental factors, and any modifications that might be beneficial to fertility
- Semen Analysis: Assessment of a semen sample identifying sperm number, movement and structure. An experienced embryologist performs this test. This provides a more detailed semen analysis than a standard pathology service.
- Summary Report: You will receive copies of the test results, a detailed explanation and any recommendations.
